It would seem odd that I go through a lot of office chairs when I don’t work in an office, but this is true. I have spend more money on the chairs than I have my desk and my cabinets, and luckily for me, this expense is a deduction when I do my taxes. I have a home office, and I love that I can work from home and still be with my daughter, but I do have to buy everything I need on my own. Even as a deduction, these costs can add up quickly. For some reason, the chairs seem to be what I buy the most often. I’m not sure why we go through so many office chairs, but we do.
